TeamCal, LLC (“TeamCal”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates teamcalapp.com (“the Site”, “the Service”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of our Site and Service.

We use your Personal Information only for providing and improving our Site and Service. By using our Site and Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms of Service, accessible at teamcalapp.com/terms.

Personal Information

While using the Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address and address (“Personal Information”). If you are a paying customer we will request additional payment related data to be able to process the payment and comply with legal laws. The Service uses Stripe, Inc. (www.stripe.com) to process credit card payments and we will never store your credit card number on our own infrastructure.

The Site and Service processes your personal information in the United States and other countries. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live. In addition we need to give certain data to 3rd party service providers in order to offer the Service. This includes hosting (Cloudflare, Heroku, WPEngine), analytics (Google, Intercom) and payment processing (Stripe).

Google Calendar & Contact Data

The Service uses the official Google Calendar API and Google Contact API to access your data and can access the data according to the Gmail or GSuite permissions of the Google user used with the Service. We need to access your Google Calendar data in order to generate schedules for the Service.  The contact data is accessed to provide a search and list to lookup new calendars for your schedule. Your calendar and contact data will be processed by our Service infrastructure as necessary for display purposes.

You can revoke access for the Service to your calendar & contact data at any time by deleting your TeamCal account or in the Google account security settings.

Log Data

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site and Service (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site and Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. This information is used to track performance of our service and give us hints where to improve.

Cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some functionality of our Site and Service.

Data Retention

On account deletion, all personal data will be removed from our infrastructure within less than 90 days. We also instruct our 3rd party providers to delete your personal data. We -or- our 3rd party service providers will keep data (e.g., payment histories) for a longer period if required by law.

Security

We work hard to protect our users from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the information we store. In particular:

  • We keep our software and tools up to date
  • We encrypt all transferred data with SSL
  • We encrypt all personal data at rest
  • We restrict access to personal information to employees, contractors and agents who need to know it in order to process the information for us

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
