TeamCalApp (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates www.teamcalapp.com (“TeamCal”, our “Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of our Site.
While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address and address (“Personal Information”). If you are a paying customer we will request additional payment related data to be able to process the payment and comply with legal laws. TeamCal uses Stripe, Inc. (www.stripe.com) to process credit card payments and we will never store your credit card number on our own infrastructure.
Our Site processes your personal information in the United States and other countries. We may process your personal information on a server located outside the country where you live. In addition we need to give certain data to 3rd party service providers in order to offer this service. This includes hosting (Cloudflare, Heroku, WPEngine), analytics (Google, Intercom) and payment processing (Stripe).
Google Calendar Data
We need to access your Google Calendar data in order to generate a schedule. TeamCal uses the official Google Calendar API to access your calendar data and can access the data according to the GSuite permissions of the Google user used with TeamCal. Your calendar data will be processed by our infrastructure but is never stored permanently and cached not longer than necessary for display purposes. You can revoke access for TeamCal to your calendar data at any time in the Google account security settings.
Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. This information is used to track performance of our service and give us hints where to improve.
Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
Like many sites, we use “cookies” to collect information. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some functionality of our Site.
On account deletion, all personal data will be removed from our infrastructure within less than 90 days. We also instruct our 3rd party providers to delete your personal data. We -or- our 3rd party service providers will keep data (e.g., payment histories) for a longer period if required by law.
We work hard to protect our users from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the information we store. In particular:
- We keep our software and tools up to date
- We encrypt all transferred data with SSL
- We encrypt all personal data at rest
- We restrict access to personal information to employees, contractors and agents who need to know it in order to process the information for us
While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
